Teas are served in Newlands Church between 1pm and 5pm every Sunday.
Enjoy a walk in the delightful Newlands Valley and drop in for Sunday afternoon tea with homemade cakes.

Newlands Church, Newlands Valley ![]() Newlands Church Location NY230194 A Earliest reference to a chapel at Newlands is C1576. The present building which has white roughcast finish, dates to 1845, with major internal refurbishment following in 1885. The adjoining schoolroom - closed in 1967 is now refurbished, and used for church and community activities including the serving of afternoon teas etc to walkers and other visitors on Summer Sunday afternoons.There is disabled access, loop system and toilet facilities. Services (subject to seasonal variation) 1st Sunday:- 11.15am - Holy Communion 3rd Sunday:- 11.15am - Morning Prayer The above services alternate monthly between BCP and CW 5th Sunday:- Benefice Services rotate around the five churches within the benefice - 11.00am, and 6.00pm |
